Introduction


Long term engaged in the research and development of fiber materials. Has outstanding achievement in the fiber forming theory, the preparation technology of hollow fiber membrane, the relationship between structure and performance of fiber, etc.


Presided over the completion of more than 40 projects which include the 863 program, 973 program and national natural science foundation of china. Have won 3 national and more than 10 provincial science and Technology Awards. Have published more than 200 papers, and 7 books. Authorized more than 40 invention patents(include 4 patents of American and Singapore ).


Presently, the state council academic degrees committee member of the textile science and engineering (convener), deputy director of the national membrane standardization technology committee, vice President of the China textile engineering society (vice director of professional committee for chemical fiber ), director of state key laboratory of hollow fiber membrane material and process, etc.
